Heads up for Max

Our son Max has been diagnosed with Plagiocephaly. What is Plagiocephaly ? Also known as 'flathead Syndrome' a condition characterised by a flattening on one side of the back of the head it may also involve bulging of the forehead, fullness of the cheek and ear misalignment on the same side as the flattening,  Max's condition includes all characteristics of the syndrome. How it's treated/corrected ? Using a Helmet/Band which is made by taking the exact measurements of Max's head. Max requires a DOC Band which is non invasive and will work by applying a gentle constant pressure over the areas of Max's skull which are more prominent and will allow growth over his flattened areas. Who can help ? Unfortunately the NHS does not recognise the syndrome as a medical condition, therfore the only treatment available is  private and is very costly. There are many charity's that may help family's with partial funds needed (by application) and appealing to your softer side we could raise the money needed to help Max. Any donations towards Max's treatment will be greatly appreciated, even just by reading about Max and he's condition is spreading awareness, and hopefully one day will be recognised by the NHS.
