Hartbeespoort Dam Lodge Support Fund – we need your help.

Dear Friends, Family and Supporters of Hartbeespoort dam Lodge in Kosmos

My Staff and I have dedicated the last 13 years of our lives to building this 4-star guesthouse at Hartbeespoort dam. If you have stayed with us in the past 13 years, you would have met our exquisite staff: the hostess and manager - our angel Eleanor - always friendly and everyone who stayed with us will remember the aroma of her freshly baked muffins and scrumptious breakfast that greet our guests every morning. David with his warm smile, ready to assist when and where you need him. Both Eleanor and David have been with us from day one. Pinky is the dearest and most caring person you will ever meet! She has been with us for more than ten years. Peter looks after the tranquil swimming pool and John works hard in the garden to create a luscious green haven for every visiting guest. And last, but not least, Maria and Nthabe takes special care and love to look after the rooms, and form part of our close-knit family here at Hartbeespoort Dam Lodge.

The last few weeks have been very difficult, and we are still trying to come to terms with the devastation that Covid-19 has had on our country, our business and especially - our families. The Coronavirus outbreak, to be honest, is surreal and I am very worried about the survival of Hartbeespoort Dam Lodge and more importantly - the livelihood of my honest, hardworking and loyal team.

This is where I am asking for your help.

Our request and plea to you, is simple: If you have stayed with us before, or would like to come and stay with us, we would like to encourage you to make a donation to our Hartbeespoort Dam Lodge Support Fund. All monies will go towards our much-loved team and in keeping the guest house open, after lockdown. We wouldn’t be asking if we had another way. Every Rand will make a difference - believe me!

We are aiming to save as many jobs as we can and when we re-open, Eleanor and the team, will be back ready to welcome you and spoil you like never before! To encourage donations, we will also be giving something back. For every donation over R275, we will give you and your partner a breakfast at Hartbeespoort Dam Lodge. For every donation over R995, we will give you a mid-week one night stay for two people sharing at our 4-star guesthouse in Kosmos, Hartbeespoort Dam, between May and the end of July 2020.
