Hardworking mother is an understatement. When you're raising a child on your own & work in the non-profit sector as a case manager for homeless youth, there is seldom downtime.

The nature of her work is hard to leave at the job & the brief respites from work or motherly duties are when she is playing music.

Besides working long hours, she donates many hours of work to providing event coordination to local charities each year. She is always eager to help those most in need.

When she received the summons to court in Sunday, November 3rd she was completely dumbstruck. It took several hours for her to process what was said in the summons.

The Plaintiff, someone she does not know, has decided to sue her for libel & slander. She is currently waiting to hear back from several lawyers but the summons states the accusor is suing her for over $10,000.

This is a staggering amount to her, who expects to bring home by the end of the year barely $15,000. Her meager savings were being spent on her fast growing son's need for a new bed, school uniforms, & surgery to remove his tonsils, place tubes in his ears, & reduce the size of his adenoids so he will have a better quality of life.

Quite frankly without solid legal representation this charge will be a factor that will put her at risk of losing everything she has worked so hard for at a time when she is focusing on preparing for her own son's surgical costs.

Any help will, however small, will amount to more than she has ever asked for herself.
