Bush is a spinal dog, he lived in a private house, guarded the property of his masters until the day when drunk neighbors decided to shoot a neighbor's dog for fun. Bullets hit the spine. When volunteers took the bloody dog away, the neighbor offered to put the dog to sleep ... But Bush survived! Dogs do not feel disabled, losing their paws, vision, and even the opportunity to get up and move normally, they still enjoy life! They want to continue to live!
In the shelter for homeless animals "Give me your paw, friend!" many disabled people who were rescued and cured by volunteers, and now they live in a shelter. But there are special ones among them - these are dogs that, as a result of hitting the car or the cruelty of people (like Bush), have received complex spinal injuries and have lost the ability to stand up and run, but they do not lose heart, they move on their front paws.
Now in the shelter "Give me your paw, friend!" The city of Zaporozhye has ten spinal collars — dogs that cannot walk, but only crawl on their front paws. For such special pets need special conditions for living in a shelter. Crawling on the asphalt, they wash the hind legs to the blood, and dirt and dust, getting into the wounds, causes inflammation and aggravation of old injuries.
Today, the shelter needs two modern spacious cages with booths, a roof and a good wooden floor for such special dogs. In such enclosures, the spinal cords will feel comfortable and cozy.
Let's create better living conditions for disabled animals deprived of their fate.
