‘Happiness for Cats’ – ‘Щастие за Котките’

‘Happiness for Cats’-
- It’s a small non-profit organisation run by a few people with huge hearts for animals. Their mission is to rescue strays, care for them and eventually find them a forever home. The unfortunate truth is that, all the funds they get is either through the charity of good-hearted people or from their own pocket and often times those funds are just not enough to cover all the expenses. Unfortunately a lot of the cats in their current care are suffering from diseases, such as FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), Respiratory infections etc. – the medical treatments for which, cause hundreds and sometimes even thousands and the donations they receive just cannot cover all of the medications and expenses. Not to mention, as well that they also have unpaid debts (a couple of thousand leva) to a vet clinic for a cat, that sadly couldn’t’ make it and has passed away.

Any amount of donation, wether big or small will be of a large help for them and most importantly the cats!

The organisation is based in Bulgaria, where unfortunately most of the times an adequate animal care and welfare isn't provided and Animal Rights are often being broken, in result of which there’s thousands of strays roaming around the streets, living in the dirt, cold and hunger and often times being abused, or even poisoned, by heartless citizens. That’s exactly what 'Happiness for Cats' is trying to prevent and put an end to, but they do need our help, as the number of stray/feral cats, needing urgent help grows more everyday.


‘Щастие за Котките’
-Това е малка огранизация, направена от няколко хора с огромна любов за животните. Тяхната цел е да спасяват улични котки, да се грижат за тях и да им намерят постоянни домове. Tъжната истина обаче е, че всички средства, които получават са от дарения от добросърдечни хора или от своя собствен джоб. За жалост обаче, доста често даренията просто не достигат да покрият всичките разходи. За жалост, много от котките под тяхната грижа страдат от болести, като котешки ФИП(Котешки инфекциозен перитонит), Респираторни инфеции и други – за които, леченията струват няколко стотин, дори хиляди. Също така ще спомена, че имат неплатени суми към вет. клиники, дори и за котенца, които за жалост са починали.

‘Щастие за Котките’се намира в България, държава в която, (както повечето знаем за жалост) доста често няма адекватна грижа за животните и много пъти законите и правата за животните биват нарушавани. В следствие на което, има хиляди улични животинки по улиците, живеещи в мръсотия, студ и глас и често биват нападани, дори натравяни от недоброжелателни хора. Организацията цели да предотврати и помогне за края на този техен живот, но за да се случи това, се нуждаят и от нашата помощ.
