Handwritten Goodbye

Hi! We are a group of final year students from Institute of Technical Education doing our Final Year Project. Our film aims to spread awareness about the importance of blood donation in Singapore, among youths. What is interesting about of film is that we are also incorporating music in the film as a way to show the bond between the two main casts.

STORY LOGLINE:

Talented best friends, Dan and Hasyir, embark on their musical journey together until a hidden secret was uncovered between them, leaving their ambition in ruins.

STORY CONCEPT/ANGLE:

Best friends, Dan and Hasyir, are a talented duo with aspirations to make it big in the music scene. They spend most of their days together in a journey of self-discovery with their passion. However, they got into an argument one day that led up to Hasyir finding out about Dan’s hidden truth. As Dan was terminally ill, their shared dream was no longer achievable as a duo. Still, Hasyir stayed through with Dan in his final days and eventually bid him goodbye with a final song, one that they wrote together. In remembrance of Dan, Hasyir would occasionally participate in blood drives to help those in need like Dan.
