Deirdre has done the Half Marathon for The Mind Cafe

Our dear friend Deirdre Morrison completed the Hackney 13.1 mile half marathon on Sunday 20th May 2018 all in the aid of raising funds for The Mind Cafe!

FOR OVER A DECADE, THE MIND CAFE HAS PROVIDED A CUTTING EDGE BESPOKE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE TO OUR CLIENTS AS A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE. WE ARE RAISING FUNDS FOR OUR OWN HOSPITAL. BELOW IS A MESSAGE FROM ONE OF OUR CLIENTS:

"Some good news to share with you both. I had my annual meeting with my consultant (Psychiatrist) and CPN the other day. All was fine (a routine appointment). They both said that with their collective experience, they are absolutely amazed at my recovery and have never seen anyone recover completely as I have in all their careers! That I'm the true definition of recovery and they'll discharge me from services in January 2019. It's all the work of our Lord and his provision of people like yourselves. You know you've both been instrumental with The G.Y.M. (guard your mind) in my recovery. The G.Y.M. with the word of God and your faithfulness saves lives. Praying God's continued immeasurable favour, provision and protection over you both always. Much love". - J.
