I struggle to ward off the big corporations that want to come in and sprael the urban land that is enriched with the perfect soils for growing the healthiest crops any in the world. The banks wont work with us anymore as the times are too stressed and cannot provide the once friendly business agreements as of today. I certainly don't know about you people out there, but I can tell you are next War in this world won't be about oil, it will be over food. Our lands are diminishing and we farmers are struggling. Our family farm is about to be sold if we cannot get any support from donors to keep it afloat and to keep the food chain in this greenbelt alive. We have gone literally from 2000 acres down to 600 acres and about to even go smaller to 80 acres. We are in jeopardy. The rising costs to farm are far above the market prices for are crops to be raised. Along with the banks to be paid and fertilizer companys and fuel costs, we are in bad shape to survive. I only hope those of you out there that understand, where will you eat in the next 10 years? Do you trust food being imported to our country? I am in no way, shape or form to spread this work out, but can only hope to make a difference for all of us, if you can help make it with me. I can say that I would only pay the favor forward in time to pay back what has assisted us to make it and to make you dinner table stocked with food everynight as well. Thank you for reading my plea and God Bless this Country. I love to farm. I would not know what else to do with my life if I could not perform my everyday life on this wonder ranch.
