Greys for Ghana is an NGO company founded by Gerarda Marjorie Newell in Kokrobite Ghana. Currently the African Grey Parrot is 99.9% extinct in Ghana and with numbers declining across Africa each year. CITES (Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species) has stated that the African Grey parrot is the single most heavily traded wild bird and has now listed this species on its endangered list.
It is Greys for Ghana's objective to be a part of the survival of this species. Currently we have aquired several acres of land and are now ready to build a camp for children with an attached aviary for the birds. As the children are the future it is our belief that the children are the key to the survival of this species. Therefore this camp is to provide a place for all children to come and learn all about the African Grey Parrot.

We all know how intelligent and incredible african greys are share your love for them. They are desperate for help and care who are victims of poachers. There isn't enough help. If it wasn't for you, My heart goes out to you and breaks when I know how they must struggle to survive.
