Hello all, I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Theology and Pscyhology. I have found that even with a severely strict budget and income, finances and life are still a bit stressful some months. I am currently receiving the benefits (and accruing the costs) of a loan for school, but this degree is something that I cannot put off.

I worked with a residential group home for teenage girls who were ordered by the court to be removed from their homes temporariliy. My work with them encouraged me to get a masters degree in counseling psychology as fast as possible so I could open up a shelter for runaway youth and young adults. I want to create a space that is safe for me them to seek guidance and relationship, a space that includes free laundry, clothes necessities, food, showers, assistance completeting school or pursuing college, job assistance, maybe even a place to lay their head for a few nights. My goal is to make sure that it is love that offers hope and change for young people. So what I am asking is for help now so I can get started on this work as soon as possible.
