Going down the right path by helping others

Hi my name is Elliott, I'm a regular guy who drives trucks for a living. I also started my own car detailing business so I make a pretty good living.For about two years I've mentored 10 young men from my neighborhood. I would take them fishing, camping, jet skiing etc. I gave them something to do other then skip school run the street sell drugs and gang bang. With all that's going on today I decide to step up and be a big brother to theses young men, many whom have no father in the house. Unfortunately for the pass six months I haven't been able to do all the things we did together because my wife has fell ill and the extra money I had goes to her medication. So I can't afford anything else. So I told these ten young men if they as a group can come up with a way to earn money I'll help them as much as I can. So one of them suggested collecting wooden pallets (skids) to sell for $2.50 a piece. But I said you'll need a truck. so they came up with candy machines They found a website that they can buy candy machines and they are guaranteed 20 location. They decide to buy 20 candy machine each one will have two machine they have to maintain. In there contract they have to give $2 dollar per machine Per boy to charity.Im trying to teach them they must give back just like I did for them. They raised a $1000 toward there $8000, I gave them a $1000 upon my word that what ever they can rasie I would match it. They are asking you to help them reach there goal of $6000.00. 

     The going down the right path project wants to bring awareness to young black men in our communities to let them know there are other ways of making a living. I'm showing them how to be entrepreneurs . How to do it the right way. I'm teaching them how to make a dollar the legal way, not by way of crime. I feel good about what I'm doing and if I can help one young man I've done my part.These young men want to start a website to support Felons,to help them find jobs upon there release.To help and show them how to succeed in the world outside of prison. To show them how to do it the right way. So by donating to this project you can help ten young men make a different in so many different way For so many people this society has turned there back on.
