Go Gabi Surgery

Gabi is a 11 year old little girl, who was born with a congenital disorder, that has baffled the Doctors. She was originally diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy, until in 2012 her results came back with no signs of Mitochondrial illness. Her diagnosis is a condition called Arthrogryposis.

She is mainly effected in her lower limbs and needs surgery from time to time to correct bone growth and structure. She is unable to walk independently and spends the majority of her day in a wheelchair, and walks in Calipers for Therapy.

We have done numerous fundraising events over the past 11 years in order to raise funds for Gabi's medical costs.

However, as her mom, I have had to start working full time and find it very hard to find the time to organise big fund raising events like I have in the past to raise the funds for Gabi's surgeries and other needs, like Calipers, Wheelchairs, Standing Frames etc.

A friend introduced me to Crowdfunding. So here I am, asking for any one who senses the need to help us contribute towards Gabi's upcoming surgery on 14 August 2017 or her ongoing medical needs for that matter.

Gabi is the happiest most loving little girl, despite what she has been through in her short life, she still manages to smile and see the bright side of life. She has the ability to creep into peoples hearts. We are proud to be her parents and her brother and sister are such an incredible blessing to her, what a privilege to love and care for her!

We are so grateful to the many people who have walked this journey with us over the past 11 years, it definitely hasn't been easy, but the people we have met and friendships gained along the way definitely help lighten the load.
