Brittany and Meredith are going to Guatemala, but we need your help! Through the VIDA Volunteer Travel Program, we will be flying with the University of Minnesota Pre-Vet Club to Guatemala. From there we will travel to poverty-stricken towns to give veterinary care -from vaccinations to surgeries- to family pets and strays off the street, all for free! But as the saying goes, there's no such thing as a free lunch, and that applies to volunteer work as well. And that's where your help comes in!
Any amount will help us to reach our goal! Your donation will able us to help animals in need and their human families, as well as further our education and experience to help even more animals in the future!
Thank you so much for your help! We and the animals thank you!
Where your money is going:
The amount listed is to cover airfare, airport exit fees, and the general program fee, which includes lodging, most meals, ground transportation, guides, bilingual health service providers, and clinic supplies.
Funds will NOT be used towards travel vaccinations, extra meals, leisure activities, souvenirs, or personal spending unless the funding goal is exceeded.
All funds will be evenly split between the two of us.
We will be departing on December 27th and returning on January 8th.
