Giving “Negan” A fighting Chance…

Everyone saw the photo go viral yesterday of our members carrying "Negan" from Animal services because he was too weak to walk... He was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection, and heartworm disease on Friday afternoon at the Shelter, but something just was not right... He was admitted into the Animal Hospital of Regency Park at 8:00am Saturday morning for a Re--check as the Rugaz staff felt he had something else going on that was a mist. While undergoing Xrays Negan fell into a seizure and was immediately admitted into the ICU unit for further diagnostics. Upon Bloodwork and Urine results we have found that Negans kidneys are in extreme failure, but the cause is unknown at this time. He is currently in the ICU-Emergency care at Animal Hospital of Regency Park and they are working and monitoring around the clock to give Negan a fighting chance at surviving whatever may be causing this, but we need your help! It seems the extreme neglect and emergency cases are piling up, but cases like Negan are exactly why we here at Rugaz do what we do. Because WE should be fighting for THEM!
