Campaign Story
Please Give Mook A New Life
I met and made friends with a homeless man named Mook at the local 7-11 on Soi 4 in Bangkok, Thailand, and everyday I always hear him say, "I want to die. I want to die." and when I look into his eyes, I can see that he just doesn't care about his life anymore...he's basically given up on life, and has given up on his own life as well. He's at the point where he doesn't care what happens to him anymore.
As I sat with him to listen to his story, one of the things that I found out was that he is very passionate about music, and he told me that he wished he had a guitar. So I decided to help my friend out and got him one. I decided to document it, and man, let me tell you...I've never seen a man cry so much tears of joy. He started saying that he wanted to die because he felt so much joy in his heart.....
Here's the video that I recorded:
I decided to take him and his belongings to my Airbnb, so that he has a bed to sleep on, has food, drinks, and good company. Look at how happy he is!
I have to check out of my Airbnb on Feb 2nd, 2022 and the sad reality is that once I leave, Mook has no choice, but to be back on the street and sleep at 7-11 again. And he DOES NOT want that.
So I am pleading with all of you, if this video has touched your heart or moved you in some way, please find it in your heart to support this campaign and give Mook a chance to have a new life!
100% of the money goes to Mook, and this will pay for Mook to have a roof over his head, a comfortable bed, food, and supplies to live comfortably (absolute heaven for him) for at least a year! So please look deeper into your hearts and help my friend get back on his feet!
And PLEASE SHARE this with everyone you know as well. Share it on your social media. Share it anywhere that you can! Every little bit of effort helps and is greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you so much for your consideration! I pray to God that the world hears our call for help, and find it in their hearts to give Mook a chance to have a new life!!! Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!!! If this campaign is successful, I don't even think I'll be able to describe how special this would be for him. It will be like his tears of joy in the video X 100!!! This is very special. Thank you!!!!!

Last Update for Mook
Update posted by David WANG at 02:40 amThis is going to be my last post for my homeless friend Mook, who is now sleeping at 7-11. I cried for about an hour for Mook. Life can sometimes be so harsh and unfair. Not everyone gets dealt the same cards. Mook’s lost his legs. He lost his wife.. . . . .
You are not going to die on me Mook!
Update posted by David WANG at 09:47 amI just found out that my homeless friend Mook's parents both passed away 3 years ago, and 3 out of his 7 siblings have passed away as well, and he thinks that he is next! No wonder he keeps saying that he wants to die. The more I learn about. . . . .

I hope this money helps him know that he's not alone and that people care. I hope he can start a new life.
