Mattis is a kind, sensitive heart who adores his family. He is a man of God and serves others wherever he can. He is a bright spirit and a rock for our family. Mattis is a terrier at heart and loves to run, roll in grass, sunbath with family and pick out sticks. He is a big brother to his sister Dorothy Ann and loves her dearly. Mattis is a strong lover and fighter. He is not new to adversity. Mattis was mauled last year on Father’s Day and showed us his strength with his recovery and constant positive happy go lucky attitude. This time is no different. Even while Seriously injured, sedated and heavily drugged, he still manages to wag his tail and give us a big smooch when we come to see him.
Everyone who knows Mattis knows he is a kind-hearted, sweet and loving family man. Mattis is a all-American pup born on 4th of July and named after his role model, General Mattis.
Mattis suffered an anxiety induced fall from our 3rd floor window down to the basement while we were away. God was watching out for Mattis because a Good Samaritan found him stumbling in the road and called us immediately.
Mattis was rushed to the emergency room, underwent multiple tests and several needles to reduce the air leaking from his lungs. Mattis needs immediate surgery to repair his intestines that have lapsed his internal lining, but his lungs have not been strong enough to undergo that surgery yet.
This morning, Mattis was transferred to emergency medicine in Mesa to be placed on a ventilator to undergo surgery to repair his intestines. Mattis will need time and prayer to heal his lung contusions.
Please consider helping us with these bills, Ryan leaves for Army training in 3 weeks and I am starting a new job soon. Above all else, please pray.
Mattis is the son of two Army Officers and loves his family and country. He is the rock for our family and provides a constant supportive and caring personality in our lives. Please help us.
