One day a healthy, cheerful, barky and happy blur of white and grey, the next, a breathless heap struggling for his life. His blood counts were crashing. Panting and gasping for life, his eyes gazed at us as if to bid us farewell. Kumar is a beloved member of the family, travelled across 2 countries with us - we couldn't have him put down, even though the prognosis was bleak, we vowed to fight beside him whatever it takes.
A week of treatments later, thank God he's responding positively to the medications and steroid cocktails - but the bills are piling up fast. He's still not discharged from the hospital and we are still not going to give up on him.
He is still fighting for his life and winning...slowly.
Help Kumar, help us..help give this bundle of joy another shot at life.
Just an interim bill and we're nearly at 10k :(
We may be over the hill insofar as Kumar's fight for his life, but the journey is not yet over. He is still in hospital. He still on a drip. The steroid cocktails have impacted his pancreas and he is now being treated for pancreatitis.
Your donations will go towards his current (and future) hospital and treatment bills, and also the future cost of medication and checkups that he will be needing to restore him back to health.
Thank you in advance for your generosity
Love, Kumar & Family

Progress report 30 Jan
Update posted by Gina Tan at 03:31 pmThank you all for your prayers, best wishes and contributions. Kumar's red blood cell counts continue to improve and the vet recommends we continue the steroid cocktails for sometime more before tapering. Kumar is starting to get greedy again so it's a good sign... Fingers crossed!
