Gift of relief to wife

Hello I’m Phillip Shaun West,

I would like to ask for donations to give my wife a gift of relief. She has been by my side every step of the way. I was diagnosed with lupus 12yrs ago and unable to work. I was denied disability after several attempts. We have made the best of the situation and have been very blessed. Our two children are out on there own and we are very proud of both. My life with lupus has changed me for the better I’m more of a lover and very compassionate and hope some day I can give back to people in need. We are selling our home and down sizing so we can slow down a little and enjoy life. My wife is attending college to become a nurse practitioner and this is taking great sacrifice but in the long run we can help others in our life and make a better world. She has been an RN for nearly 20 yrs and it has taken a toll on her body. I live with guilt because I want nothing more but to help her financially. She’s been there every time I’ve been in pain and never takes my dignity away when at times I feel I have none. I only ask for donations for my wife to feel a moment of relief and I can only hope with everyone’s help I can show her how much I love and value her life time dedication to our family. This will not cure me nor will it solve our life time struggles, but I feel it could be just what she needs to push us both forward to make this world a better place. When she finishes school we have both dreamed of how we could open a clinic and help others in need. If you are able and willing to donate thank you.
