Ghana Volunteering 2018

Hello, my name is Lawrence Blades and I am currently a member of Lady Lumley's Sixth Form in the North East of England and am using the crowd funding website to ask for some help. In August this year I have been given the opportunity to travel to Ghana where I will volunteer to help the local families and children build both suitable water access points and conserve the local school buildings, furthermore we will also teach and care for the local children when we are there. The areas in Ghana which we will reach out to live in poverty and awful conditions, we believe our work will make a difference to many lives of Ghanaian children. I am writing to ask for a donation to help pay for the necessary tools and equipment to build these vital structures which will allow children access to clean water and better schooling. I aim to raise a total amount of £2500. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way to hopefully making a change to children's lives in Ghana.
