Ghana Trip 2018

This year, I am excited to be getting the opportunity to go to Kumasi, Ghana in Africa to serve!! I will be gone for a total of 24 days in November and have the chance to do both medical work and shine the light of Christ there as well. For 20 hours a week I will be getting to help both in and out of the operating room in a local hospital doing everything from taking blood pressure to assisting in surgery. The rest of my time will be spent exploring the city and sharing the the love of God with anyone who will listen as Ghanaians tend to be very open and friendly about their faith. I believe that God will use me and grow in me in many ways on this trip as I will have to learn to be completely reliant on him. I will be traveling overseas for the first time; to a foreign country surrounded by complete strangers. What an amazing opportunity!
