Campaign Story
I am going to be a volunteer in Ghana where I will be placed at Kumasi Children's Home through PMGY (Plan My Gap Year). I will be working alongside local staff to assist with teaching the children, general childcare and the daily operational running of the orphanage.
Many of the children I will be working with may have mothers that have died at childbirth and have no one looking after them, abandoned children, street children and/ or children with unstable parents. I'll be a big sister to these children for the 10 weeks I'm in Ghana.
The money I fundraise will go towards costs, such as; my fee, flights, vaccinations, visa, criminal background check, insurance and spending money for local transport.
