Getting life right

Here I go.I have been working to finish my degree for quite sometime now and have struggled, to do so with my mental illness and navigating my way through being a single mom. It has taken withdrawals and retaking classes but I have finally reached my last two courses. However, now I have encountered not having the funds to complete my final two classes to earn my degree. I had my son in high school but I was determined and kept going to school even though it was hard and I graduated high school at the top 10% of my class and I am the first in my family to graduate high school and am the first in my family to go to college. And I will be the first to earn my degree, I claim it:). Although college has been much more of a challenge I was not willing to give up. I kept fighting for my degree and now I am near completion, only 2 classes to go :), glory be to God. I have had to receive public assistance for my son and I to survive, and I do thank God for the help it has provided. But I desire to show my son a better life than the one I had. To show him that my effort to finish college was not all for nothing and that going to college makes a difference in one's quality of life. I will be excited for the day when I have a career, can afford my own groceries and expenses. To be able to make my dream of purchasing a home and getting a dog for my son a reality. I am grateful for everyone and all you can do to help me get there, self-sufficient living here I come:). Thank you and may God bless you all.
