Get Tunde a Taxi

Tunde is a self trained mechanic (and I don't mean neat technical workshops like we have in the UK), and driver. He supplements earnings from car repairs by taking the adhoc driving job - so if you are travelling and need someone to drive your car - Tunde's the man for the job (that's how I know him). Things can be really tough in Nigeria where he lives and suffice to say he earns below the poverty line despite all his hardwork and hustling. Now there are hundreds of thousands like him in my country and indeed all over the world, but wouldn't it be great to make a difference starting with the 1 person...

Last time I was in Nigeria, he mentioned he'd like to get a taxi to drive in the evenings/night to earn some more money to better support his family and provide a better standard of living ( i won't go into details of how poor the standard of living can get). So I thought it would be great if we could help him on his way. He's considered getting a loan, but with no collateral and a crippling economy, he doesn't stand a chance. Shall we help give this extremely hard working young lass a chance at earning a more comfy life - a much deserved break.

A taxi will cost circa £2000 - this is the target, but I'd be more than happy if we can raise a quarter or half of the funds for him. Many thanks for your support and God bless.
