GET THE STONES TO PHILLY (SEMINARY)

No, we aren't talking about getting The Rolling Stones to Philly, they've had their day. 

We're talking about getting us, Peter & Morgan Stone, to Philadelphia to attend Wesminster Seminary, where Peter has been accepted. He will be pursuing his Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry. The Lord has made our paths clear and we are confidently pursuing this path, although it is difficult. 

So, here we are, literally asking for money, which is extremely out of our comfort zones (except if you're talking about from our parents).  We just returned from New York City, where we were daily approached by someone doing the same, begging with a cup in their hands and dirt on their face, asking for spare change. What a humbling experience this has already been. We need your help to get Peter to seminary and get our lives where the Lord is so clearly leading us.  

As many of you know, Peter's dad passed away from esophogial cancer in March 2012. He was an amazing man and pastor. His dream was for his eldest son to attend seminary, as he did, and follow in his footsteps. If you know Peter, he is anything but a follower. He does things to the beat of his own drum (usually with a raccoon hat on his head). However, this is different. This is something in which he desires to follow. He wants to make not only his Heavenly Father proud, but also his earthly father proud and pursue a theological education at this prestigious institution. 

So where do you come in? We need prayers, encouragement, accountability, and financial support. Same as any educational pursuit in this day and age, seminary is expensive, but that is not going to stop us! The Lord will provide just as He always has. 

This projected amount of $15,000 is approximately how much we will need for Peter to complete one academic school year (2014-15) with taking about 15 hours per semester. We plan to move up to Philly in the beginning of January and Peter will start classes in February. 

Also, with this sort of modern fund raising endeavor, we realize there are going to be questions and concerns and with this we want you guys to know that we are open books! PLEASE feel free to ask for our budget and expenses, we want you to feel comfortable supporting us and know where your money is going! Also, since this is just supposed to be a brief bio into the direction we are going, please also feel free to ask us tough questions (e.g. career path, marital stability, commitment, budget, beliefs, theological pursuits, emphases, etc.) 

P.S. Even though every beggar says this, every little bit really does help. We aren't offended by "small" donations! We're only continuously encouraged and excited to hear from the Lord and how He is going to work through us and through you guys.
