Get Lucky to safety

I found Lucky as a puppy half dead under a car one morning on the way to work. I didn't think he would pull through but he is a little fighter. He is such a sweet dog and a lovable fluff, which is great if we were not in China. Recently our city has enforced strict new laws on dog owners requiring that dogs must be registered and we are only allowed to walk them after 7 pm till 7 am. They are not allowed in any public areas, including parks. A list of banned breeds has also been released and unfortunately all dogs that are mixed breeds can not be registered. So I can not register Lucky. This law was also implemented in only a day with no prior warning for dog owners to register their dogs.

So what is happening to strays, banned breeds and unregistered dogs? The police or chengguan as they are known here, have started a city wide culling. Any dog they catch, is brutally murdered and tortured. They are drowned or beaten with whatever the police have on hand with no regard to the dogs suffering or the owners who can only stand by and watch.

My only goal is to keep my dog safe who has been there for me when things get difficult and the loneliness gets too much and I would like to give him the chance of having a proper life. So I want to send him back home to South Africa where he will not be in danger of being killed because he is a mixed and he doesn't have to be confined to a flat the whole day.

Currently the quotes I have been able to get to export him out of China is standing at 35 000 rmb. It has always been my end goal to take him back home but now it has become a necessity as his life is in danger.

I just want to give my pup a chance and I will pay forward any help I receive but please help me safe my Lucky
