Get Kids Off the Street With Education

Hi all, I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your positive contributions to education.  As we all know, education comes in many shapes and forms. It could come in the form of great advice from a trusted friend, academic knowledge from a dedicated teacher, or anything else.    It's great to know that some parents appreciate the importance of education to the point that they are willing to take time out of their already busy day to transport their kids to and from various activities. Unfortunately, there are many kids out there that do not have that opportunity. Many are our neighbors, our children's classmates, or just a perfect stranger from down the street. Statistics show that a strong after school program reduces crime and dropout rates by 53%. Statistics also show that crime rates increase between the times of 3 and 7 because of the lack of parental involvement/supervision after school. I have been blessed with the opportunity to provide an opportunity to those children in need. This Brain Fusion Academy initiative was started in order to provide supplemental technology and academic education to already advanced students. But during the holy month of Ramadan, I realized that it isn't fair to those who need help with the basics.  Most of those students who need help cannot afford to pay. As you may or may not already know, our center is located in the heart of Santa Ana, CA where poverty is evident. I would like to extend the opportunity for you to be involved in the process of bringing in these students into our program. My goal is to get nonprofit status to be able to attain funds for these types of programs. But until that is realized, I would humbly appeal to you to sponsor a student. Whatever you can give would help out immensely. I seek to provide quality education to kids who would not be able to afford it elsewhere by providing free or reduced-cost services.This program is unique as we seek to teach technology skills to all students.
