Campaign Story
About Us:
Scott is 23 years old, gay, and proud! I, Jordan, am an active LGBTQ ally and support equality everywhere! We have been best friends for many years. I have hardly travelled outside of the Midwest in my life. Neither of us has ever been able to take a long trip purely for our own enjoyment because we are both full-time college students. I work two jobs and Scott has one. We both try to work as much as possible to pay bills and keep up, but it's never easy. As such, neither of us has any extra money for fun or leisure.
Why We Are Fundraising:
We have always wanted to go to the big Pride Festival in San Fransisco, and that is why I've started this fundraiser. Without some extra funds, it will be highly unlikely that my friend and I will be able to go to San Fransisco this summer, since we both are in school, and we can only work so much. I think the both of us deserve to go on a small two-day vacation together because we work our butts of just to make ends meet, and we never have time to relax or have fun. I do not have a relationship with my family, and therefore have nobody to ask for financial support. We're just two broke college kids trying to make it to an event that would change our lives.
How You Donation Will Help:
Donations would help us pay for air fare, hotel stay and food for two-three days.

Please consider donating so that Scott and I can have the experience of a lifetime and create memories that will last forever. Your donation will show support not only for the LGBTQ community across America, but also for the financial hardships that thousands of college students experience every year.
