General Store

I would like to start a General Store in my community. I believe that it is vital to our community of 3000+ people to have a corner stone like this. For 12 years I ran a small mom and pop hardware store in a large (million plus) city so I can see the need for something like that here. The location is 30 minutes from any major "big box" chain so the convenience of it being down the road is a plus. Being that the community consist of new built homes and homes pushing 80 years means that all types of projects are being done. From new basement developments to outdated kitchens and bathroom remodels. What I am asking for is the startup funds to be able to invest in the community through the creation of the local General Store. A new development with a major chain grocery store is coming in and the developer wants the addition of a small town hardware store. The addition of the General Store will add jobs to our young workforce that , without public transportation, have little to no job access since there are so few businesses in our community. I have the know how on how to make it a reputable and thriving business in the community. Not only did I run the mom and pop  but I managed an electronics department store with a staff of 10 people before being promoted to inventory and warehouse manager. My skills are definitely in place but I just need the opportunity to prove myself, and that requires start up capital from generous individuals like yourself.
