Gender Confirmation surgery

Update posted by Jennifer Milford On Mar 15, 2020

I have been applying and interviewing for more than a year and being constantly turned down. I volunteer in the LGBTQ community and I am learning to play roller derby, I am willing to work but no one is giving me a chance to prove myself. I have dealt with blatant discrimination and hate, homelessness, joblessness, I have no car, and my major source of gender dysphoria is my face and body. I deal with depression and anxiety, self esteem issues, loneliness, isolation, and many other things on a daily basis, being able to get surgeries would help alleviate these things. I just want to live a productive healthy life like everyone else does. I don’t want special treatment, I want to just be myself and live life.
