Gem’s NYC Half

WHY? As some of you know, I have decided to run the New York Half Marathon on March 16th, 2014. I figure there is no point putting myself through this for nothing, so I have chosen this great cause to fund raise for.

This organisation is run by a mother and daughter. They, along with volunteers, help rescue these lovely dogs and make sure they get any veterinary treatment needed, are fed, loved and put into suitable foster homes before then trying to find them a "forever" home.  They do not have the advantage of being backed by a large charity, which makes this even more special to me.

Let's help ease some of the financial burden! 

WHO? Jack Russell Terrier Rescue is a non profit cause to save and rescue dogs from pounds, unclaimed strays, unwanted pets or dogs that are surrendered to be put to sleep through no fault of their own. They rescue from the UK & Abroad. Although dedicated to Jack Russell Terriers they will aim to help all abused and stray dogs.
