Gamers Incorparated

In my city and surrounding suburban areas the youth are getting involved in gang shooting or caught in the cross fire. All because they seek to belong to something or they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Growing up the one thing that kept me of the streets was growing up was gaming. Ounce I joined the online commuity I gained alot. Moslty I made friends and it kept me away from the life I fear I would've had. The gaming community in my city, my country. We're large and diverse. Other countries have their own gaming leagues , streamers, celebs joining competitions. South Africa does not. Thus picking up a gun seems more appealing then picking up a controller or keyboard and mouse. I learnt alot through gaming. Later I was inspired by all the different mechanics involved in gaming. The physics, the 3D modeling, the planning, story boarding , plot creation. Because of gaming i want ahead and studied further so I could understand more of what went on behind a simple gaming. Now I have a 3D mechanical and architectural draphting as well as a computer hardware/software/networking qualifications. My friends are doing their 3rd year of programming. All because we grew up fascinated with how people were able to create such complex, cgi, digital marvels known as video games.

My friends and I want to create a platform, a group where gamers all over my country can interact and communicate with eachother. A platform that can be internationally recognized. Where the youth can be inspired to be apart of something better than whats currently available to them. To be a positive influence. Because as a parent what would you prefer? You child outside all the time getting pressured or mislead into situations or groups that either get them arrested/killed or them spending their time at home playing games, building relationships with people like them in an environment they feel most comfortable in?

I don't get to see my friends as often as is like. But we talk every day via playing games. It keeps us connected.
