Why I'm Raising Funds
I am seeking support towards credentials in Occupational Therapy, which requires special training and coursework. Donations will go towards materials and tuition for the Occupational Therapy Program at the Barry University College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

My Journey so far
I have always been interested in the healthcare industry, and have spent the last three years working with older adults in a Skilled Nursing Facility as a certified recreational therapist. I continue to be inspired each day, working alongside a strong therapy department and seeing, firsthand, the importance of occupational therapy in helping people achieve their fullest independence.

Passionate about the Success of Others
My passion for therapy is matched only by my passion for people, and I feel occupational therapy is suited to my personality and abilities. I am excited by the diverse nature of the work and the effect that meaningful activity can have in helping individuals improve their quality of life and achieve personal goals.

With my experience and strong background, I am confident I will be successful in achieving an advanced healthcare degree, as well as contribute to the industry as an occupational therapist by implementing diverse therapy strategies with your generosity and support.
