Funeral matters of my father

Hi, I am Anson, a final year student studying at the City University of Hong Kong, under the major of Business Economics.

When I was young, around 4 years old, my mother has passed away due to lung cancer. And since then, me and my father are responsible to work hard in order to prevent our family from collapsing.

My father, 61, was a construction worker with a monthly salary of around 24k HKD per month. However, his income is rather unstable because whether he can work or not on that day really depend on the weather, availability of the constrcution site and the shifting of the schedule.

For me, I am under my final year study now and after that I will find a banking job to make use from what I have learnt in the university. Currently, I am doing several part-time jobs to offer support to the family, including two tutoring and a part-time job in the convenience store. And for my sister, she is still young and studying in the secondary school now.

The life has been hard but so far it is still ok to my family in the past 8-10 years. However, in recent years, the health of my father has turned bad. Inherited by my mother plus the fact that my father is a wine-lover, it is discovered that he has had a phase 2 lung cancer during the body check last year. Although he has been really tough and brave, he still cannot be able to overcome this obstacle and finally passed away last week.

With this, in recent days I have been busy to settle the funeral matters of my father. And plus the fact that I have to pay the tuition fee of this semester before mid-Dec, I suddenly find very confusing and despair towards my family and my future. I have had one second to think of suicide two days ago. But don't know if it was lucky of not, I found the roof of my building is locked and I cannot reach the top floor and jump down to kill all these bad things.

Hence, I am now seeking help and financial support from all of you to help my go through the most difficult moment of my lift. It doesn't matter if the amount of support is big or not, I will be very pleased and thankful if you can give me a hand and my beloved father.

For me, I will try my best to complete my degree course in the first honour basis and go into the society to find a full time job to support the family asap...
