Funds for Cleft lip surgery for 2 Siblings

This has been a tough journey so far and that is why I am reaching out for a helping hand.

Me and my younger brother were both born with cleft lips and I've had some very bad experiences with my surgeries that caused unnecessary pain. My surgery experiences scared my brother so much that he is avoiding surgery at this point. I know that if we were to find the right surgeon, we would both be able to have one last successful operation that will give us that last boost I feel we both need.There aren't even a lot of surgeons that are willing to operate on young adults with this defect but that is only according to my research so far. My brother also needs some minor dental work. We both only need a few small improvements, nothing major at all. Unfortunately, many people see it as cosmetic surgery and not as 'reconstructive' and this is a problem with certain medical aids as well. Many medical aids also consider adult cleft lip surgery as a cosmetic procedure and that is very incorrect view in my opinion. I will speak for every kid born with this defect when I say that we all just want to be the best versions of ourselves (with our scars that will be a constant reminder of all we have been through, no surgeon could make them disappear at all, but surgeons can help in other ways). That is what I am aiming for, not to look like someone else, just to be the best version of myself and to give my brother the best one-time experience and result. We don't have a medical aids in any case, so we don't have the financial power to make our last reconstructive surgeries possible yet. These small improvements still cost a lot because of the skills,time and precision that goes into this type of surgery. It would be the amazing to have one last chance for the best possible results and I would be forever grateful!
