Mama will defeat cancer! Please help us raise funds for her chemotherapy.

MY MOTHER HAS BREAST CANCER BUT SHE WAS BORN A FIGHTER. (And we can fight with her too!)

Last November 19, Mama was diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer. Mama was diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer. Mama was diagnosed with stage 2A breast cancer. No, it wasn't a typographical error. It's me saying it a million times to myself so my brain could finally accept it. They say, the more you expose yourself to something you fear, the fear will eventually have no power over you and you'll be free. But I guess, it doesn't apply here because the more I think about it, the more frightened I become and I'm sure nobody would want to get used to seeing their own mother scared for her life

We were truly devastated that day and seeing her trembling lips and worried eyes were the worst nightmares you badly want to wake up from. She kept on saying "Doc, gagaling naman ho ako diba?" (Doc, I'll be cured, right?") - the question was meant to be positive but the tone gave it away. She was fearful and hopeless and I kid you not, it felt like being stabbed repeatedly by the sharpest sword ever existed. Those words will forever leave a scar in my heart and mind. I took the longest and saddest ride home of my life. I couldn't think straight and the only thing that's clear to me at that very moment was.. I couldn't do it alone.

I have tried selling fundraising shirts to cover her surgery which has taken place last December 17 and thankfully, we have been allowed to pay for her surgery's expense via installment since we are unable to pay the full amount and I am still trying to complete our loan as of this writing.

I am my family's breadwinner and in times like these, I really find it hard to make both ends meet. As much as I would like to keep this private and solve this on my own, I finally came to my senses and realized that this is not something I could survive alone. This is the one fight where an army is badly, badly needed. That's why I am humbly knocking on your good hearts to raise funds to cover the medical expenses of my mother's chemotherapy and medicines.
