I am Maileen L. Garcia, 33 years old, from Pasig City, Philippines. I am asking help for my son’s condition. He is Marick L. Garcia, 6 years old. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in November 2011 and has been undergoing chemotherapy up to the present. He was able to survive the 3 year treatment plan. However, he was diagnosed on September 2014 of Testicular Relapse in relation to ALL. He has been taking chemotherapy sessions again, until this month of October 2015, he had Bone Marrow Relapse. We were advised by our doctor to undergo Bone Marrow Transplant which will cost approximately $100,000. This is the only chance for him to be healed from this illness. For now he will undergo chemotherapy for approximately 2 months and radiation therapy to clear the cancer cells in his peripheral blood before he will undergo Bone Marrow Transplant.
I am kindly asking for your help to raise funds for my son in order to proceed with the next step of treatment.
We are all in despair for this situation considering we only have a short period of time to raise such big amount. Any kind of help will be highly appreciated and all of my family will be extremely grateful.
Thank you so much for having time in reading my son's heart breaking situation. God bless us all.
