Fundraising for Cusco, Peru Medical Mission Trip

Hello, My name is Brandon Wood-Potter and I am a undergraduate student aspiring to enter the medical field and become a doctor. The two greatest factors that have guided my life are people and medicine. I am an orphan in my state and it was the care and passion from other people that saved me and my future. I am eternally grateful to those special individuals , because they gave me hope, and it is my wish to pay-forward to others that same feeling while trying do more good in this world than bad before I leave it. With saying that, practicing medicine is the best route I know to accomplish this goal. I have interned, shadowed, and worked in various doctors offices and clinic in the United States for the last 4 years during college to prepare myself for med school.

However, a force has been pulling my heart and soul to travel and bring that same passion to others around the world. So I discovered the International Volunteer HQ and have been accepted to go to Cusco, Peru and assist in basic medical aid, rehabilitation exercises, and providing companionship to the patients and residents in the area. The total cost of this trip for me would be approximately $1000, and, as a current full-time college student, any help would be greatly appreciated. If I am able to accomplish the goal of this fundraiser, any left over funds will go towards feeing the homeless in my town.
