Fundraising for Build A House Project

Hi everyone, my name is Jia En. Been thinking to go on a volunteer overseas program for some time and finally made the decision to go this coming October! I will be heading to Cambodia for Build A House project together with Operation Hope Foundation (OHF). While the minimum donation is $450, I wish to raise a higher amount through this platform. Donations will go toward the house built by the team and any excess funds will be treated as a general donation to OHF. You can find more information here at: https://ohf.org.sg/open-teams/.

About OHF, Cambodia

OHF have a 120 children orphanage in an 80,000 sq feet facility in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. Started in Dec 2003, Hope Village Prey Veng provides poor orphans and abandoned children with a home that is safe, enriching and loving.

Hope Training Centre is a 70,000 sq ft training centre which has dormitories, computer rooms, classrooms and accommodation for volunteers and staff. It houses the TJSSS (Training Job Skills for the Service Sector) training program poor rural school leavers. This training is to prepare them to get a higher paid job.

We have managed to raise a total of $2560 all together! Your donations will be used to support the kids as below:

1. $450 - Build the house funding

2. $1800 - 200 pairs of slippers for kids & 25 food packs for families whom are at poverty level 1 & 2*

3. $300 - 200 wheat fibre eco-friendly bottles for kids

4. $100 - Milo powder, condensed milk and sugar

* 1 food pack consists: 1 x 50kg Rice, 1 x 1L Cooking Oil (vegetable), 1 x1 kg Sugar, 1 x1 kg Salt, 2x bottle of fish sauce, 2x bottle of soya sauce, 6x Can of Sardine
