WE BADLY NEED YOUR HELP!
My father (Niven Zantua) was admitted to De Los Santos Medical Center last Wednesday, November 25, 2020, for showing symptoms similar to COVID-19. Luckily, the result of the swab test turned out negative. However, he was being treated for severe leptospirosis and we are just awaiting for the laboratory results to confirm the diagnosis. He's still in the ICU for close monitoring and currently intubated. Based on the last update that we've received, he's in stable condition and being monitored for pulmonary hemorrhage (bleeding). We are still awaiting for the results of the other laboratory tests they've administered. The running bill for his admission is already PHP 500,000 and his HMO only provided an initial of PHP 75,000 for the coverage (awaiting final coverage amount). My family is already working out its finances and we might reach a point where we won't have enough.
If there's any amount that you can share to help with his hospital bills, it will be greatly appreciated.

DELAYED UPDATE
Update posted by Tristan Almeric Zantua at 12:16 amThis is to share the good news that my father was discharged from the hospital last Monday and he's continuing his recovery at home.He'll be monitored for at least a month with several follow-ups already scheduled. He's not experiencing any difficulties, except for the mild swelling of hands and feet. . . . .

Update posted by Tristan Almeric Zantua at 02:12 amDay 7 in ICU. He was extubated last night and his vitals today are within normal range. They'll still feed him through NGT (nasogastric tube) today, but there's a high chance that it will be removed anytime soon and he'll be provided with normal food. He's still with oxygen support. . . . .

Update posted by Tristan Almeric Zantua at 02:07 amDay 6 in ICU. According to his doctor, there's a chance of him being extubated today. His urine output is getting better and there's no need for dialysis for the time being. We are now looking forward for him to be transferred to a regular room for his continuous recovery.We. . . . .

Update posted by Tristan Almeric Zantua at 02:07 amDay 5 in ICU. Based on the latest update, he's still intubated, but he's able to sustain the 30% oxygen support since yesterday. Sedation is also removed. His heart rate is normal and they're trying to lower down the support for his BP to see if he can now manage. . . . .

According to the resident doctor yesterday, if he was able to sustain the 30%, there's a high chance that the vent will be removed (which is a good. . . . .
