We are asking for everyone's help. Please. We just went through some major medical costs on several of our little fur-babies and are in over $25,000 in debt with medical costs. The major and most recent ones are in the picture. Rucker has had two separate leg and knee surgeries. The Costco/Sandpit cat (Eve), found in the parking lot required an immediate emergency room visit. Duke, the 12-14 year old dog that was found running the streets, has heart problems and has gone through numerous tests and just had an Echo Cardiogram on February 7, 2017, which revealed a heart condition. Our newest rescue is a cat named Morgan, who was brought in as an emergency. The vet thinks she was hit by a car and suffered a broken jaw, among other injuries. She had surgery on February 6, 2017 and is currently staying at the hospital, being fed through a feeding tube until her jaw heals. Cash, an 8 month old kitten, ended up being rushed to the emergency room, suffering from seizures. While at the hospital his heart gave out and sadly our sweet baby passed away. 21 cats & 4 newborn kittens from the Franklin Square Hoarder House, which you may have seen featured on the news, were brought here to us at Pets4Luv by the NC SPCA and are now under our care with multiple health problems. One cat named Dave/case# FS7, arrived to us with a missing eye and has to go for a medical evaluation. The $25,000 that we are asking for sounds like a lot of money, but you have to keep in mind that in Rescue, the costs are never ending. We are hoping to recoup the medical costs of the cases you just read about, but also have our other 80 plus "fur residents" to care for, as well as the next emergency cases that will walk through our doors. If we can get help covering the medical costs we told you about here, it will help us to stay afloat and enable Pets4Luv to continue helping more innocent Cats and Dogs that arrive at our doorstep and desperately need our help. Thank you in advance for any amount you can donate, which will help us with our medical costs and the care of our babies
