Coco is a comm cat which i feed every night and has been missing for 5 days.
Background on cat: he was owned, and abandoned when the owner shifted. Coco was left out in the streets and managed to find his way to a group of cats i feed everyday. However, a wk plus, he went missing. Feeling worried, ive posted on fb hoping someone might have found him. No news.
Till one day i found him hiding behind a taxi. He was crying in pain. After checking him,his hind leg seems to be the cause, and he is limping
My mum contacted the owner, and the owner just told her to rub some oil on Coco's leg and leave him there.
Obviously leaving him out in the cold when he is feeling sick isnt an option, so we brought him home. We would like to send him to the vet for a check-up, but due to some financial constraints, im really hoping some kind souls could at least advise on how we can do so at a very minimum budget.
It should be the responsibility of the owner to care for him, but seeing that no action is taken from her end, i really hope some advise can be given to us on how best to help Coco.
Currently, Coco is at a vet as my mum found a friend who offered to bring him to e vet for checks. However, now she is unable to fund anymore and is requesting for us to claim Coco back.
Thus, we have sent him to another vet, the Cat Clinic yesterday 20th Oct 2017. (Clinic was suggested by quite a few on FB)
However, im just worried that i might not be able to fund for his bill solely, hence would really appreciate if any kind souls could assist in contributing to his medical bills.
Coco is a very huge, huggable and loving cat. I just couldnt bear to leave him out in the cold, wounded, just like what his owner (or should i say, ex owner, suggested for us to do)
Any contribution is very much appreciated from both Coco and I. Thank you. =)
So far, ive done a $100 deposit. As he is still being kept in the clinic, the bill can only be finalised at a later date.
