This project will entail establishing international school that offer international curriculum in buhigwe, kigoma, Tanzania that will bring drastic change to the rural children way of learning. children in the rural communities access their education through free primary education offered by the government of Tanzania. Although it is highly appreciated for the initiative of the government but there are still challenges like not being able to cope with the abrupt change of language of instruction from Swahili in primary school to English in secondary school. This abrupt change sometimes comes without change with geographical location of the child. This creates more pressure on the child.
After teaching in international schools in Dar es salaam,Tanzania. I am moved to take the experience that will be enjoyed by the rural communities by being able to make their children attend affordable English medium primary school that offer full fledged international curriculum and also get orientation on the improving their English speaking skills. The skill will give them a smooth transition from primary education to Secondary education without language challenges and also becoming more competent in class learning.
Not only that but also the rural children will be able to offer access a community Library a school laboratory and variety of books and computer Room. All these facilities will facilitate the children to access interactive learning by practically using the equipments necessary for their day to day learning.
