Funding for World Masters Track and Field Championships

As most of you know I will competeing in the largest competition of my life The World Masters Track and Field Championships in October. For this competition Athletics Canada or Athletics Ontario does not fund there Masters Athletes to these competitions so in order to compete the money ends up coming out of your pocket (i.e flight, hotel).

I have been running Track since a young child taken a break and 1995 and restarting again in 2005. Since then I have won several indoor and outdoor Provincial and National Championships. Also competing in several competitions overseas and being very very successful.

As I just returned from a big competition in Belgium and winning in a few events and the World Championships being so close together it is a little bit harder to fund yourself for both. So under the reccomendations of clients and friends they suggested that I set up this site so I don't have so much weight on my shoulders and am able to go over and represent Canada well.

So with that being said if you could find it in you're heart to fund me in any way it would be greatly appreciated as you will help by sending me off to the biggest competiton of my life. And remember no contribution is too small every little bit counts.

 For those contributed I will be sending out day by day results and feedback on the competition to keep you ininformed.
