Fund our marathoners

A fundraiser to raise money to support 4 Canadian distance runners left off the Athletcis Canada carding/support program (Reid Coolsaet, Lanni Marchant, Krista Duchene and Natasha Wodak). These amazing runners and record holders and inspiring members of the Canadian running community were left off a list of funded athletes.

There is a clear process - but for 4 runners we are all proud of and who represented Canada at the Olympics in August - would not get funding in November seems wrong.

At the best they get $1500/month to train. If we all donate a little we can do alot for them. Lets do this! This is attainable!

Lets raise money to help out these fellow runners!

Reid Coolsaet: 4-time 5000m National Champion, 2nd fastest Canadian marathon time ever and has represented Canada at the Worlds, Commonwealth Games and Olympics.

Lanni Marchant: Canadian marathon and half-marathon record holder, Olympian and has attended World Championships and Commonwealth Games.

Krista Duchene: Second fastest female marathon time ever, Olympian and represented Canada at the World Championships and one tough nut!

Natasha Wodak: 10,000m Canadian record holder and 10-time national team member. Has represented Canada at the World Championships, Pan Am Games and the Olympics.

*I will manage the campaign and split any funds raised among the 4 athletes.
