IT'S TIME TO FIX INTERNET CENSORSHIP

My name is Zach Vorhies, I'm the Google Software Engineer that blew the whistle on Google's censorship.

I get asked: "How do we stop political censorship by Big Tech"? The answer is that we have to do the hard work and fix the censorship problem ourselves. How do we do that? With Technology!

That's why I created Blast.video

Blast.video replaces the YouTube recommendation engine for politics. And it constantly searches for new videos across multiple major platforms like Rumble, Bitchute and others.

Blast.video's is driven by a simple mission statement: To be "The BEST place for news 24/7".

We do this by scanning ~220 content creators for new videos throughout the day. Conservative to independent, like

  • Tim Pool
  • Dinesh Dsouza
  • Mike Adams
  • Stew Peters
  • Alex Jones
  • Paul Joseph Watson
  • Judicial Watch
  • JP Sears
  • Project Veritas
  • Black Conservative Patriot
  • Tim Dillon
  • Dave Rubin
  • ...and many many more

We also feature special channels for

  • Warroom with Steve Bannon
  • Infowars
  • Fox/Oann/Newsmax
  • Health & Keto
The interface is slick and super fast. Because it's a fast loading website there is no need to install an app and thus no need to follow Apple or Google's censorship guidelines. Save a web link to the homescreen and now it's just as good as an app!

Blast.video is resistant to censorship

Our recommendation engine is resistant to censorship because it pulls from multiple platforms for their content. If person X is banned on YouTube, we can pull them from Rumble and so on. As long as person X is hosted on a supported platform then blast.video can pull their videos and will appear in the recommendation feed.

HELP US FIX CENSORSHIP

Do you believe that good people working together can make a difference?
  1. What if you tell your friends to come to blast.video? Then you'll be part of the solution. Let your friends know that censorship has been fixed in America at Blast.video. They'll thank you for giving them the heads up.
  2. Contribute financially. $10, $20, $50. How many times have you said to yourself "why won't someone care to fix the censorship?" I thought the same, that's why I built this site for YOU. Your support and spreading this message will help us build new methods of algorithmic soveignty.

What does the money get spent on?

Blast.video has two costs (1) server time and bandwidth (2) new features.

Server and Maintenance Costs

If we raise $125k then we will commit to maintain the site until the end of 2022.
If we raise $300k then we will commit to maintain the site until the end of 2024.

New Features: Making Blast.Video the best in 2022 and beyond

Here are the major features we think will be popular. We commit to polling you, the community fo supports and let you vote to decide which feature I implement next. Which of these features would you want added first?

Features to be voted on:

  • Add compatibility for more video services (e.g. Dlive, Twitch).
  • Implement a "subscribe" feature to get notifications for your favorite content creators.
  • Generate news feeds from the top Telegram channels
    • Telegram enables this through their bot api.
  • Use blast.video to spawn other sites like:
    • Crypto News (cryptopro.video)
    • Left media and comedy
    • Study Music
    • Learning to code
    • Science, Engineering and Math
  • Open source blast.video and work with the community to merge their improvements back into the main product line.
  • Support conservatives in other countries that want to get their own version of blast.video but for their country.

Misc

In 2020, when YouTube engaged in breathtaking political purges, I raised money for a lawsuit (punchgoogle.com) and sued to stop the purge. Unfortunately we weren't successful in getting the court to stop the purge and the rest is history.

A big challenge was learning to code for the web. I had to learn so much. I felt overwhelmed. I wanted to give up but the desire to fix censorship gave me the discipline to push forward anyway.
