#FROMheartTOheart: ARTSANA for Mission Bambini

The current situation

Every year 1 million children are born affected by congenital heart diseases and around 80% of these children are born in a poor country with no access to needed medical resources such as therapies and surgery. Half of these children will not reach their first birthday.

The response

Since 2005, through “Children’s heart” project, Mission Bambini has saved children in developing countries who have been affected by severe heart disease by engaging volunteer doctors and working together with oversees health facilities.Mission Bambini is also committed to preventing rheumatic disease that every year affects thousands of healthy hearts.

The results

In 14 years Mission Bambini have saved 2,066 children through heart surgery, treated more than 16,000 children who received the correct diagnosis and offered free training to 421 local doctors. Despite this, so many children are still waiting for our help.

Unity is strength

Since 2013 Artsana Group has been supporting Mission Bambini and the “Children’s Heart” program through its “Happiness goes from heart to heart” projetct, an international project of solidarity that is part of the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility commitment.

This year Artsana Group decided to renew its support to cardiopathic children through a crowdfunding campaign called #FROMheartTOheart by uniting 6 of its international branches.

UK & Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and United States are all proud to support and help raise funds for the “Children’s Heart” program.
