From Russia with Love

Hello, and thank you for stopping to read my page.

Firstly, I’m not the type of man to ask for help and have always preferred to work then accept help that others could do with more than me. This is not because I believe that I will be rewarded later in life or at the holy gates (I am not religious, but do respect people’s beliefs). I just believe you have to do what you can whilst you still can move and breathe!

In 2015 I went to work in Moscow constructing a football stadium. I work as an Contract Specialist in project management on projects around the world. This particular project took me to Moscow where I met my wife, at chance, at a bar or all places...

My wife, who was my girlfriend at the time followed me to my future projects and was always there when I needed her. Although she had to adhere to the visa stipulations for each country. This meant that at some points we didn’t get to see each other for months on end. It was hard. But love is strong.

The past two years have been extremely difficult. Bad judgements with employers leaving us 30000 US owed (working in Saudi). Health issues and deaths in the family. I know this is all part and parcel of life.

The latest disappointing and crushing event was when I had started a new job in Asia, my wife joined my after leaving her job. We started to pay our debts and were in a really happy position.

Then I’m told the job is not continuing and everyone is being sent home. We applied for a visa for England and it was refused. I applied for Russia and it was rejected. We are married and we are honest and the home office want an extortionate amount of money for us to be together.

My company paid us one week pay and we were on our way. Me in the Uk and my wife in Moscow. Having no money and me looking for a job in every industry, supermarket, pizza delivery’s, driving.

I am no stranger to working hard. I worked as a fisherman, got a job as ice cream man when my hand was severed (when working on the fishing trawler).

i just would like to reach out to the people who are about to help in any way for us to be together.

I had two brothers that I could call upon and they could support me. They are no longer with us.

I know that I will find a way and with any of your help I will be able to be reunited to my beautiful wife.

I am willing to do work and write and play guitar. So I know it’s not much but maybe I can give you back something.
