Freya wants to live

Freya is an American Staffordshire terrier born in August 21st 2015. in Požega Croatia, in dog kennel Wind of Bora. Who Freya really is?
People who have meet Freya know that there is no words that can describe this muzzle. She is my sons best friend, his comfort, his therapy and his happiness.

"Mom, first I love you, then Freya and grandma together."

That's what Freya means to my son, how much she means to me, I can't describe, and I think I really don't have to.

Freyas character is really beautiful, she is so happy and cheerful dog, but yet calm and relaxed.
She adores to be cuddled a lot, she is really kind and obedient dog. First of all Freya came in our family as a therapy dog for my son who is a child with some developmental disabilities (PDD, ADHD) and she became equal, extremely loved, member of our little family. In 6 and a half years of her life she had a lot of misfortune (constant skin allergies, fake pregnancies, inflammation of the uterus, wild flesh growths on the ear) now we have a new one. Because of the chronic ear infections that leads to tissue proliferations, Freya has got development of benign tumors in both of her ears (you can see it in pictures below). Still Freya is cheerfully playing even when she is in pain, and has a huge will to live.

The operation that Freya needs to live her happy, pain-free life is very difficult, demanding, and expensive. At this moment I'm in contact with dr.vet. Alan Jurca from Fabela in Zagreb who has experiences in this kind of operations. Our veterinarian dr.vet. Lovorka Rubeša recommended us dr.vet. Alan Jurca as her first choice for that kind of operation. By first estimate operation will cost about 4000 kn (around 550 €) per ear, total of around 8000 kn (1100 €). In this moment I really don't have that amount of money for this operation which is necessary for Freya so she can continue to live. I am forced to ask you my friends, acquaintances, and all of you people of good will and big heart to help me in this fight for our precius Freyas life.
