Terminal Kidney Cancer with Lung And bones Metastases : Please Help Frank and his family.

Update posted by Emilie Guillot On May 22, 2020

Dear everyone

We wanted to thank you for all the support you have offered us during those past months. Frank couldn’t have asked for better friends.

For those who couldn’t be there with us Wednesday, know that the ceremonies went well. It was beautiful to see so much love and sympathy.

We started with a few words from Priest Remy. Followed with a few songs we selected to remind us of Frank. His favorites from Bob Marley!!

We then had a few speeches from family members and friends. Every prayers were in French but the ceremony was in English. We then said our last goodbye with a queue of more than a hundred people present.

Edah was very moved.

It was very touching and beautiful in the meantime.

The coming year will be difficult for them but your support and love will give them the strength to go through it. Not alone.

We are keeping the crowdfunding a bit longer in order to achieve our target. Don’t be shy to share it once again.

We will add the video with the sound (that needs some editing) shortly for those who couldn’t be there.

If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate.

One last thing. We have received today the album photo. For those I won’t be able to see in Hong Kong, if you have a message please let me know so i can add it. For those in HK let me know where and when to meet :)

Thank you once again.

Our little Franky can now Rest In Peace.

Here are some pictures taken the day before the ceremony. Please keep it private. Thank you.

Dear everyone.

Thank you for those who could make it on Sunday. It was a short but very nice ceremony to say our first goodbyes to our dear Franky.

For those who couldn’t make it, we received your messages. Yes, there will be an official ceremony. Public and private actually. And of course, we will let you know when we can, the actual date along with the details.

In the meantime, we keep the crowdfunding platform opened so we can still help Frank’s family.

So don't stop sharing it if you can. We want – and we know you do too - to support, as much as we can, his wife and kids during the tragedy. You can imagine how fast this money can go especially after such loss. Therefore, we will keep it running upon your requests hoping we can bring additional help along the way.

Thank you for your patience.

Please consider to contribute to their future in place of buying flowers...

We thank you all from the bottom of our heart.

There are no words that can heal the pain for our loss.

For those who don’t know, Frank past away yesterday morning. He did not suffer and he wasn’t alone. Edah was with him all the way to the light. He is now at peace.

Frank was and will always be in our heart.

Please join us to mourn the passing of Frank Lebiez at 6:30PM. There will be a gathering at the Sun Yat Sen Park. Fountain area facing the Harbour or at the end of the walk way. It will depend on the public crowd.

Anyone who wants to light a candle is more that welcome to join us.

6:30PM gathering

7PM we will light the lanterns while having a minute of silence.

As we are saying goodbye to our dear friend in a public area, we are allowed but we must keep small groups of 10 close by.

Bring candles, lanterns, drinks or anything you wish to bring.

Thank you all.

Afternoon everyone.

Our beloved Edah’s has shared with us her message to you.

‘’Thank you everyone for all the prayers, supports & helps. ‘Thank you’ would never be enough for all the kindness & love that you have given us.

My apologies if we can’t update much or communicate with everyone who helps us.

It’s really a difficult time for Frank to reply or communicate with anyone in his condition but we are truly grateful. We are so blessed to have you all in our lives.

Please don’t stop praying for Frank.

Believe me, it’s working... it gives him strength to fight the pain.

Thank you so much ❤️🙏🏼😘

Ps: Thanks for the videos! He loves it!

Merci! 😘❤️’’

Edah.

.....

Regarding the crowdfunding, we are getting closer. How amazing is this?!! And this would not be happening without your help. Don’t be shy to share it again on your social media or emails. That would be very nice of you. Remember every bits count. Just a kind reminder not to tag them :)

Thank you thank you!!

Hi everyone.

We hope everyone is good.

Little update.

Frank had a pleural drainage yesterday. We removed 1l of water from his lungs. Today his condition is stable, the latest Xray was good and no complication so far.

He is resting now. They should have another meeting again tomorrow with the oncologist.

During our visit we forgot to mention that when the nurse was changing his antibiotic, he asked for some water. The nurse barely gave him drops. He complained and mentioned that she better not do the same with his pastis!

As we said earlier. Our little Franky is fighting. He doesn’t let his guard down.

And all of this because of the beautiful videos we made, our prayers and the love he feels from you all around the world.

Thank you so much.

Dear all.

We must be proud of our responses. We sent so much love and prayers, they are very grateful.

You must know that today Frank was so so so happy to hear how much donations we made. He had the smile of a child on his beautiful face. To learn about it, there were some relief in his eyes. He is so grateful!! Well done everyone. We are truly making a difference today. Despite his difficult breathing, he is there with us, He even made a joke. He was suggesting the hospital should have private masseuses at night!!! Ah!

Our friend is still fighting with everything he has. Keep strong Franky!

We are here for you! Wherever we are!

Dear Frank, be strong! We are all thinking of you and your family. Lots of love and a virtual hug, Familia Clapis
