My name is Tara. I'm a 25 year old girl with big dreams and ideas. For a long time I struggled with the path I wanted to take, what my place was in this world and what I wanted my goals to be. There was one thing I have always known, I wanted to be helping people and changing lives even in the smallest way possible.

I wouldn't say I had an extremely difficult childhood but I knew the experiences I had would shape me for the future. I've lived in 4 different countries each similar and different in their own ways, I attend 4 different primary schools and 4 different high schools. Many of the choices I have made some might see as regrets but I hope to make them into a opportunity. An opportunity to help young people who like myself at a young age felt lost and in turn made me take risks and choices that I probably would not have if I had the assertiveness and self confidence I do today.

From the age of 15 I knew I want to be a Social Worker. I have no idea how even knew what a social worker was or why that stuck with me but I knew that was a profession that helped so many people from all walks of life. I completed a Bachelor of Social Work in 2013 at Western Sydney University. From that moment onwards being a Social Worker became a huge part of my personal identity and something that I was extremely proud of, it was a surreal feeling to have finally done it. The biggest achievement in my life thus far. I went on to work in Child Protection for a year and half in Sydney, Australia which solidified the fact that I wanted to help children and young people more than any other vulnerable group in society. I heard some of the most horrific events/stories/ experiences happen to a group of human beings that were suppose to be protected by those very adults that hurt them so deeply.

I hope that you can help me to a make a difference in this world the best way I know how by actually practising what I've always thought and the social worker I've always wanted to be. I want to travel this world learning, listening, caring, loving, teaching and experiencing with young people showing them how important self-esteem, self-identity, self-love, confidence, achievement, uniqueness, experiences are all part of knowing your part in this world for whatever reasons that may be.

I want to raise money to carry out programs, talks, activities, games anything of that nature to groups, schools, young women and men, churches anywhere that will listen to raise young people to know they are important, their views are valued and most of all no matter who you are and where you come from you are valuable to this world. My first step is to find somewhere that will allow me to share my experiences and hopefully run activities that can provide a different perspective to what young people are told to think of themselves in today's society. I want to do this for as long as I can but with your help. Recently I've realised there is no satisfaction working for money and that the only way I can somewhat fulfilled is go out there care for others. The money raised will be used to carry out research, but equipment I need, the time spent contacting any group that will allow me go in and share/learn and eventually hopefully allow me to do this full time. I know the amount I've chosen seems small but I'm unsure about what response this will receive so here we are.

I will update here as much as possible but please join me in this journey, you'll never how much I'll appreciate it

Good morning beautiful people, It is currently 0930am in England on a Saturday morning. I usually spend my summer Saturday morning getting with My partner Ben to play cricket. He currently plays for a small village team here in Bath and does really well. I'm glad I spent a large. . . . .
